Woodstock, renamed

Plumpton was originally called Woodstock and was renamed after the coursing tradition at Plumpton in England, to avoid confusion with a railway station of the same name. The suburb sits among the ring of 1980s estates north of Mount Druitt, alongside Oakhurst, Hassall Grove and Glendenning.
